Rep. Mike Lawler’s Approval Rating Underwater And McCarthy Default Plan Wildly Unpopular in NY-17
May 9, 2023
Washington, D.C. – House Majority Forward released the results of its survey in NY-17, looking at the Democratic plan to reduce the deficit and avoid a default on our debt, and the House Republican proposals to threaten Social Security and Medicare, cut veterans’ benefits, slash education funding, defund public safety, kill manufacturing, and cut Medicaid.
The survey comes after House Majority Forward today launched a new $1 million digital, research, and messaging campaign in congressional districts across the country opposing Kevin McCarthy’s MAGA default plan to slash veterans benefits, defund law enforcement, drive costs up, and cut Medicaid for 21 million Americans.
