New HMF Polling Shows Trump and Ryan Mackenzie Job Approval at New Lows in PA-07
March 30, 2026
Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority Forward poll of PA-07 shows Rep. Ryan Mackenzie and Donald Trump hitting all-time low job approval ratings, with both politicians underwater with district constituents and Trump facing especially deep disapproval for his handling of the economy.
The results come after House Majority Forward’s February launch of a digital advertising campaign in five congressional districts across the country as part of HMF’s multimillion-dollar healthcare and economic accountability program. The ads specifically called on Rep. Ryan Mackenzie to do his job and stand up for his constituents against RFK Jr.’s dangerous conspiracy theories that are making Americans sicker.
Key findings from HMF’s poll include:
- Ryan Mackenzie’ job approval rating is weak among his own constituents: Only 27% of PA-07 constituents approve of Mackenzie’s job performance, while 41% disapprove. 32% are not sure.
- Trump is also underwater in PA-07:
- Favorability: Only 40% of PA-07 constituents view Trump favorably, while 56% view him unfavorably.
- Job Approval: Just 41% of PA-07 constituents approve of Trump’s job performance, while 57% disapprove.
- Economic Approval: Trump is especially weak on the economy—the top issue for PA-07 constituents. 59% of PA-07 constituents disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy, while just 37% approve.
- Favorability: Only 40% of PA-07 constituents view Trump favorably, while 56% view him unfavorably.
