New HMF Polling Shows Trump and Miller-Meeks Job Approval at New Lows in IA-01
March 30, 2026
Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority Forward poll of IA-01 shows Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Donald Trump hitting all-time low job approval ratings.
The results come after House Majority Forward’s February launch of a digital advertising campaign in five congressional districts across the country as part of HMF’s multimillion-dollar healthcare and economic accountability program. The ads specifically called on Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks to do her job and stand up for her constituents against RFK Jr.’s dangerous conspiracy theories that are making Americans sicker.
Key findings from HMF’s poll include:
- Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ job approval rating is weak among her own constituents: Only 29% of IA-01 constituents approve of Miller-Meeks’ job performance, while 49% disapprove. 22% are not sure.
- Trump is also underwater in IA-01:
- Favorability: Only 42% of IA-01 constituents view Trump favorably, while 50% view him unfavorably.
- Job Approval: Just 45% of IA-01 constituents approve of Trump’s job performance, while 52% disapprove.
- Economic Approval: Trump is especially weak on the economy—the top issue for IA-01 constituents. 54% of IA-01 constituents disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy, while just 40% approve.
- Favorability: Only 42% of IA-01 constituents view Trump favorably, while 50% view him unfavorably.
