New HMF Polling Shows Trump and Gabe Evans Job Approval Hitting New Lows in CO-08
March 30, 2026
Washington, D.C. – New comparative polling from House Majority Forward shows Rep. Gabe Evans and Donald Trump’s job approval ratings hitting all-time lows in CO-08, with both politicians losing ground between February and March 2026.
The results come after House Majority Forward’s February launch of a digital advertising campaign in five congressional districts across the country as part of HMF’s multimillion-dollar healthcare and economic accountability program. The ads specifically called on Rep. Gabe Evans to do his job and stand up for his constituents against RFK Jr.’s dangerous conspiracy theories that are making Americans sicker.
Key findings from HMF’s comparative polling include:
- Gabe Evans’ numbers show he has a weak job approval rating in his own district: In February, only 29% of CO-08 constituents approved of Gabe Evans’ job performance, while 39% disapproved. By March, his approval had slipped further to 27%, while disapproval climbed to 42%.
- Trump’s numbers in the district are underwater and continue to slide.
- Favorability: Trump’s favorability among CO-08 constituents dropped from 44% favorable / 51% unfavorable in February to 41% favorable / 55% unfavorable in March.
- Job Approval: Trump’s job approval among CO-08 constituents followed the same trajectory, falling from 47% approve / 50% disapprove to 42% approve / 54% disapprove over the same period.
- Economic Approval: Trump is especially weak on the economy—the top issue for CO-08 constituents. Approval of his handling of the economy among CO-08 constituents slipped from 46% to 41% over just one month, while disapproval climbed from 50% to 54%.
- Favorability: Trump’s favorability among CO-08 constituents dropped from 44% favorable / 51% unfavorable in February to 41% favorable / 55% unfavorable in March.
