New National Digital Ad Slams Scandal-Ridden Republicans
August 17, 2018
Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced a new national digital ad spotlighting the seemingly never-ending scandal-ridden history of House Republican leaders including those now seeking to succeed Paul Ryan. Even over just the past two years, House Republicans have repeatedly shut down the government, tried to cover up outrageous scandals, and attempted to end Medicare and Social Security.
The ad, titled “Answer,” begins running Monday nationally on digital platforms.
“Past is prologue when it comes to House Republican leadership – a series of toxic politicians pushing toxic policies,” said House Majority PAC Communications Director Jeb Fain. “For almost a quarter century, House GOP leaders have been defined and disgraced by scandal after scandal and their never-ending quest to harm the economic security of hardworking families – even seeking to end Medicare and Social Security. It’s just more of the same with the Republicans jockeying to replace Paul Ryan. Our country can’t afford the House GOP’s continuing circus of chaos and corruption, and we’re going to make sure voters from coast to coast know it. It’s time for a Democratic Congress that will actually work for the American people.”
