HMP Posts Record August Fundraising

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced that its latest monthly fundraising report will show the group with a record August fundraising haul of more than $7.1 million. HMP raised $3.9 million in August 2014 and $5.6 million in August 2012. The report will also show the group ending August with $18.5 million cash-on-hand. The group ended August 2014 with $11.8 million cash-on-hand and August 2012 with $8.3 million cash-on-hand.
 
The latest August numbers bring House Majority PAC’s total raised for the 2016 cycle to approximately $26.5 million. The totals for the cycle include more than 147,000 individual contributions from over 46,000 contributors.
 
House Majority PAC raised and spent $36 million in 2012 and $38 million in 2014.

We will continue working to expand the map for House Democrats and hold Republicans accountable for the divisive agenda that defines their party at every level of the ticket.”
 
The recent fundraising report covers August 1 through August 31.
